i had OSS last week.. boy.. i was freakin bored.. and now im grounded from my truck till school is out.. even though i can drive to work.. so i can just tell my parents im going to work and they will believe me..yeah.. their dumb like that..

so i really want to start a band... geeze... im getting bored going down in the basement and playing all by my self....it makes me sad...

ok so this weekend was pretty tight and its not going to be over till 5:00 a.m.

pretty much the only bad thing that happened this weekend was i got a ticket for speeding down 69.. i was only going 85.. the bald sherrif was a dick too.. "the truck shakes sir" says vinnie as hes telling me that i was going way to fast.. so the ticket was around 60 bucks and im going to try to pay for it without my parents finding out...

^Butane goes BOOM.. me, vinnie, and travis blew up stuff last night. twas fun

well.. i did it... i wrote a dumb speech on Marshmallow Peeps.. i cant believe mrs baumgardner made me write it..well here it is..took me an hour to doo..

Peeps, you know those little bunnies and chicks that the easter bunny brings you every year?

Well today is your lucky day because your about to find out all about them..

First we will go through the making of a peep, then we will go through some of the history of peeps and finally some cool facts about them.

The making of a peep consists of 6 steps that take place in the peep factory. First, all the ingredients that makes up all the marshmallowy goodness is put in big kettles to be mized together, this mixture is called the slurry. the slurry goes through a whipper to get the fluffyness. Next color is added and mixed with sugar. Chicks and bunnies come in yellow, pink, lavender and blue. Otherpeeps pruducts come in orange, purple, brown, green and red. The third step is making the shapes, the shapes are chicks, bunnies and eggs for easter, vanilla cream hearts, stawberri cream hearts, and pink hears for Valentines day, Stars for Summer, umpkins, spooky cats, ghosts and cocoa bats for halloween, and snowmen, Christmas trees, and cutouts for Christmas.As the peeps go on convaior belts the colored sugar coats them and the belt. Then the belts take the peeps to a wind tunnel. The wind tunnel stirs up the sugar all around so the marshmallow gets entirally covered. No for Step five, as the little parade of bunnies and chixks keep moving they recieve eyes and other decorations. Step 6, now time for packing. the peeps go into their new home of plastic and cardboard as they travel to new lands to be..well ..eaten..but they dont know that.

Now its time for some history, In 1910 a Russian named Sam Born comes to the U.S. from France, and introdused french chocolates to New York. In 1917 he opened a candy store named Just Born. In 1923 born opend a small factory in Brooklyn. a few years later in 1953 just born acquires Radda Candy Co. who made a small line of Marshmallows. Back then these marshmallows were made from squeezing a pastry tube by hand. Bob Born comes into the picture in 1950 and helped merchandize the 'Marshmallow peeps;. In 1960 Just Born starts to make Christmas Trees and Pumpkins, and peeps for all ocasions. From then on peeps industry has been growing which leads me to my last topic.

There are enough peeps to circle the Earth twice! In 1953 it took 27 minutes to make one little Chick. now it takes 6 minutes. How about some peeps on your pizza? well some people would love it..Each peep has 32 calaries and 0 grams of fat. and Amazingly Marshmallow Peeps outsell Jully Beans, there is a peeps fan club and if you want to wear a stylish peep shirt just go to the Marshmallow Peeps website.
